Could you translate? Or make the photo larger? I’m having a hard time understanding the humor, and I want to.
He he he….
I will do my best to translate. But, be forewarned, this is Chinese humor. Which usually leaves us Westerners with a \”huh??\” feeling.
The mudflap on the scooter says \”fei chang ji che\”.
Ji che means motorcycle.
Ji che is also slang for a woman that is kind of bitchy, ditzy, and in general a bit of a pain in the ass. I\’ve overheard it in more than one arguement between boy and girlfriend. Usually him saying \”stop being so Ji Che\”.
Fei chang just means \”very\” or \”extremely\”.
People in Taiwan all ride scooters in a very \”ji che\” way.
One other thing. \”Ji\” is not written in in Chinese. it is written in the script of the pronuncation system they use in Taiwan. Just like in English, in our dictionaries, we have a phonenetic way of writing the pronuncation, in case you don\’t know the pronuncation.
It just adds another little twist on the humor.
Well, at least if you are Chinese!
